Welcome to Firside Athletic Youth Football Club

Welcome to Firside Athletic YFC.

We are a FA Charter standard club who are passionate about the opportunities football can bring your children and the wider community. Established in 1989 we give children and young people a safe place to express their creativity and grow their footballing potential by building up their confidence and self esteem, helping them to flourish as part of a team. 

Our focus as coaches is to create a fun, friendly and welcoming environment in which a child feels confident to try out new skills, developing perseverance and long lasting friendships in the process. 

Our home grounds are Firside Junior school, Hellesdon High school and Hellesdon Community Centre Recreation ground. Our club house sits at Firside Junior, a school we are most proud to call our home and have done so since the beginning. 

Our teams compete in the Norfolk Combined Youth Football League but historically we have also had a large amount of girls teams competing in the Norfolk Womens and Girls Football League. We are a club who are growing fast in order to reach the heights of our former glory and provide as many opportunities as possible to our beloved Hellesdon community and the wider area.
